SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION

The Pitt Meadows Paddling Club is a not for profit organization registered under the BC Societies Act, that provides a variety of water safety and paddling programs for  members of our local community.

Our programs include Dragon Boating, Outrigger Canoeing, Sprint Canoeing and Kayaking and Recreational Canoeing and Kayaking. We also offer PaddleALL programs for people with disabilities.

We are located on the south west shore of the Alouette River at the Harris Road Bridge (14411 Harris Road).

The club began with the vision of Rick Hammer who not only believed that all members of the community should have the opportunity to participate in all paddle sports at both recreational and competitive levels but that by encouraging participation in 'Big Boats' many of the sport skills learned could be tranferred to life skills.  With personal equipment on loan from the founding members and a lease agreement in place with a generous community member, the club began delivering programs in April 2007.

The Pitt Meadows Paddling Club is a member of both CanoeKayak BC (the Provincial Sport Organization for Paddle Sports in BC) and CanoeKayak Canada (the National Sport Organization for Paddle Sport in Canada) as are all club members.
