Intro to SUP now offered every TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY

That's right - we are now offering Intro to SUP sessions with one of our staff instructors. After our session, you will be able to paddle your board in a straight line, stop, and be able to do several different strokes to maneuver yourself sideways and around obstacles. These skills will help improve your confidence on a paddle board, and give you the skills you need to paddle safely and maybe even with some style!

--> Sessions run Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00PM

--> Intro to SUP sessions are free for members, and $25 for non-members 

--> Limited to 8 participants per session

Mountain Canoe

We are happy to offer Learn-to-Paddle courses every week for you to develop and sharpen your skills on the water.

What is Learn to Paddle? If you would like to get more familiar with paddling, or just like the idea of brushing up on your skills, then this course is for you! Coach Nick will be leading participants in 2.5-hour workshops that include: basic paddling mechanics, stroke types, proper balance and posture, steering, and water safety skills. Instruction will primarily be focused on kayaks, but will also include canoes.

Note: We offer a BEGINNER course (targeted to beginners and those with little paddling experience) and a BEYOND course (targeted to those who have completed the Beginner course or who have a little more experience)

--> Learn to Paddle courses are just $35 (+GST) for non-members 

--> Members can register for a $10 refundable deposit

--> You must register in advance, either online or in person at the club

BULLETIN: Harris Road Closure...

Beginning July 5, the City of Pitt Meadows will be replacing the bridge over Katzie Slough. This section of Harris Road will be closed with no access. Please view the following map for the alternate driving routes to access the Pitt Meadows Paddling Club.






KayakFit is BACK!!!!



Kayak Fit was one of the stand-out favourite programs at PMPC in the summer of 2017, and it is now back on the schedule! Come out and try our KayakFit session today!

What is Kayak Fit? This program offers paddlers a unique opportunity to learn basic kayak fundamentals, skills, and games with a focus on improving endurance, balance, and strength. Classes are offered on a drop-in basis. These sessions will be led by either Kat or Jaycee, two of our PMPC staffers. Kat developed these sessions to give people the opportunity to participate in fitness training while in a kayak! Due to their popularity, we have added Jaycee to the Kayak FIT team!

--> Kayak Fit sessions are free for members, and $25 for non-members. 

--> Limited to 8 participants per session

Extended Paddling for Labour Day! 

To celebrate the beautiful weather and long weekend, the Pitt Meadows Paddling Club is extending its drop-in paddling for Monday, September 3.
